Writers Against the War on Gaza Film Workers For Palestine
For those who don’t know, #noarmsinthearts is a campaign by culture workers putting pressure on Scotiabank, the single largest foreign shareholder in Elbit Systems, to fully divest – and to resist the bank’s funding of the arts which it uses to obscure its role in the arms trade.
Following the Q&A for LOOK INTO MY EYES, director Lana Wilson shared her solidarity with the #NoArmsInTheArts campaign and called upon Hot Docs to request Scotiabank to withdraw its investment in arms manufacturer Elbit Systems. #HotDocs24
