While every day from Thu-Sun has severe weather potential, Saturday looks to have the best overlap of ingredients coming together over parts of the Plains/Ozarks, capable of all severe hazards.
Springtime in the Ozarks is especially enchanting, as the surrounding landscape bursts to life with vibrant colors. Just a short drive from us, Finley Farms is a cherished destination & showcases the region’s rich history and agricultural heritage.
This week, Ozarks at Large remembers David Pryor, who passed away Saturday. This clips shows him in Washington, DC, after six months in office as a U.S. representative.
Episodes air Mondays at 12 and 7 on KUAF and at 7 on KUAR. tinyurl.com/v6dcmkwh tinyurl.com/3fbu4aa4
The Ozark Howler aka... the Hoo-Hoo, the Nightshade Bear, or Devil Cat. Regardless of name this unique cryptid is a wonderful part of Ozark folklore. Being from the Ozarks myself I always keep an eye open for the Howler when I'm out looking for Sasquatch. Art by Traci Shepherd
