Senate Democrats rubber stamped the PFML bill without an actuarial study to understand the cost.

Irresponsible.

Republicans had a bill that was good for employees, employers, & didn’t force taxpayers to foot the bill.

My baby was in the NICU and when I left at night I would watch him on a video cam. The hours away from him were painful. But many parents couldn’t be with their babies in the NICU because they didn’t have paid leave. That’s why I support #PFML and I am voting yes on it today!

When people questioned the cost estimates in #mnleg hearings, they said the #PFML projections were 'doubly conservative.' They wrote it in the fiscal note.

They were off by $200 million per year. We deserve better.
