Lesser Celandine (Ficaria verna) in the sunshine. Possibly OE wenwyrt, wen-'swelling', wyrt-a useful 'plant, herb', I've not yet found it in #PlaceNames but it occurs in many early remedies for inflammations, AKA pilewort! Local names incl. cheesecups, butterchops & goldy knob!
