We are now at 60% containment.
Firefighters will continue working within this steep terrain to seek out and extinguish any remaining hot spots as incoming winds test their containment lines.
#CreekFire is 4,276 acres and 90% contained. We are no longer in unified command.
The San Bernardino National Forest is now responding to the #PitmanFire , 60% contained, with 15 engines, 9 aircraft (1 air attack, 4 helicopters, 4 air tankers), 3 water tenders, and 2 hand crew's assigned.
