ran on B'way from Nov 1939 to June 1947, 3224 performances. Originally, Father and Mother were played by Howard Lindsay (one of the playwrights) and Dorothy Stickney, his (mostly) stage actress wife. Teresa Wright played Mary (Elizabeth Taylor's role)
