One of the #PremierHomesScotland Directors was at #PattiesmuirPoppyfields recently to clean the new build windows again. Perhaps if they applied their environmental policy to prevent soil erosion and dust there’d be no need to keep on cleaning. Neighbours would be grateful too.
Building ECO homes isn’t difficult, it just needs an alternative mindset from everyone involved. It seems like #PremierHomesScotland doesn’t want to change old-fashioned methods so continues to build outdated, less efficient houses. Is it a lack of thought? £640k deserves better

that provided fantastic habitats for our native flora and fauna? All that is left is a scraped dust bath
with a couple of tenements that no one wants to buy. Who can blame them?

the sales marketing for these ‘eco-friendly’ homes does not declare their EPC rating. Perhaps the true figures are too embarrassing to mention. Have you asked for the facts?

Talking of Greenwashing @ #PattiesmuirPoppyfields , a truly green developer would have included an MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery) system to combine the supply and extract ventilation in one balanced system and recover up to 95% heat from your home. Not PHS though.
