Thanks to a tip from The Potty Plotters on using white vinegar to remove rust, my twine-snipping scissors are back in action despite having spent the best part of a year stranded down the back of a large waterbutt.
Went to the annual Morley show today which was judged by the The Potty Plotters - Fantastic display of Derbyshire produce.
Little did I know they AUCTION OFF ALL of the best veg.

It is underlain by mine workings which have collapsed at least twice. Unstable - so the best use is for allotments! No value as development land.

Just lucky it was a garden that was lost, and not the house.
