Can you believe that throughout history only whites have exhibited all these 5 personality dimensions, whereas nonwhites only 2 dimensions (“interpersonal prosociality” and “industriousness”)?

No wonder 95 to 98 % of the greatest explorers in history were European men.

New meta-analysis on temperature effects finds 'no clear support for two commonly adopted theoretical perspectives: warmth-primes-prosociality or heat-facilitates-aggression.' bpspsychub.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/bj…

New preprint! Bill Pepe and I asked: if infants see one prosocial act, does this guide expectations about the actor's future prosociality? If yes, does this reflect thinking about dispositions (toward anyone) or relationships (toward a specific someone)? osf.io/cjnkb/

What is the link between temperature and prosocial/antisocial behavior?

Some argue: heat facilitates aggression.
Others argue: warmth primes prosociality.

New review and meta-analysis argues: no link whatsoever.

Laboratory games assessing prosociality can better predict real-world behavior when the results of the games (Dictator Game, etc.) are aggregated. The findings provide valuable information relevant to the person-situation 'debate.' sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
