Unthinkable that we are still fighting for gaji minima of RM1500 in 2024, the SAME amount I was paid in 2012 during my pupillage! 4-5 govs later, we are still here.

In the Nigerian Legal atmosphere, while I so much align with undergoing pupillage, either ways, just know for sure that there will be ‘rainy’ days, ‘sunny’ days and days of ‘harmattan’. The knowledge of the Business side of Law and GOOD LUCK are key keys to financial stability.

Anyone else on pupillage countdown? 11 days. I keep telling myself to be realistic about how competitive it is but still have that flicker of hope 🙈

This is one area of pupillage/internship that is rarely talked about, payment of salaries. I really don't know why but seeing people I know complaining about not being paid just doesn't sit right with me. Imagine sweating to meet deadlines and thereafter nothing to show for it.🤦🏾‍♂️

This is not spoken about enough. Never publicly said this but in my pupillage year, I was bullied so much by this senior that I just had to fight back at a point. When I fought back, the bully went running to management 🤭. If you feel bullied, fight back, always!

Ms Zondi is currently serving pupillage but the Legal Practice Council has declined to certify that she is a fit and proper person to be admitted as an advocate. She was debarred by Aon SA under s14 (1) of the FAIS Act from rendering financial services to which the Act applies.
