It’s lambing time and many of the fields at our places and those adjoining them will be full of pregnant ewes and lambs right now.

Please remember to keep your dog on a lead. Even the cute friendly dogs still have potential to harm.

Please remember to keep your dogs on a lead during lambing time. This applies to fields you are walking through where animals are visible but also through sites like Eaves Wood which are adjoining farmland.

Disturbance from dogs is a real problem for farmers. At this time of year pregnant sheep can miscarry their lambs when they're stressed.

Please:
🐶 Keep dogs on a short lead
🐑 Give sheep space
❗ Remain calm around livestock
