Beautiful FengYun-3F as always, processed with #SatDump . True color, day micro and airmass. Notice how snow at low altitudes is starting to melt (different color on the day micro)

Looks like it's time to release Vitality GOES 1.5.2! It's a minor update, but an important one because it adds support for #SatDump 1.2.0, and its great new composites!

The update also includes improved video rendering scripts that work on Windows/Linux.

My very first attempt to receive #Elektro -L3 on L-Band @ 09:42 UTC. with my 1m dish, decoded with #satdump . The best image I got was from Ch2. Average SNR was only around 4dB. El. of this sat is only 6.6°. So I think, I need a bigger dish...

Today's GOES-16 Meso 1 of the storms over Texas demonstrates the benefits of #SatDump 's Day Cloud Convection Composite over traditional false color.

Strong convection is highlighted in bright white, while cirrus clouds are a wispy gray, and low-level clouds are yellow 🌩

I've built a second x band waveguide and did a bit of testing. Performance definitely has improved, I'm able to maintain sync on NOAA 21 and AQUA much easier now!
