SBW Sam Strickland 'Out' as removed from the lesson. They spend the rest of the lesson in a room supervised by a member of staff. Then, they go back to their normal lesson. They will have a detention at the end of the day. Our school is quite big, around 1500 students.

SBW Tom Rogers It is like a big isolation room with the usual booths and staffed by some specially employed to supervise them. They stay in there until end of the lesson then back to lessons. It is a school of 1500 students

SBW Tom Rogers Staffing issues seem to be just as big as an issue in school as the rest. Not having a strict behaviour policy could lead to teacher leaving. Wanting a strict behaviour policy you need non teaching staff the supervise. Catch 22
