What a joke! Brent Council install a school street in this location to encourage pupils to walk to school, then allow Lime to deposit their bikes there. Shows #schoolstreets are just a cash cow.

The Bicycle Bus Sustrans Warwickshire County Council Presumably funding flow is Active Travel England > council > #BikeBus project, and working with councils would ideally support joined up thinking re #SchoolStreets , #LTNs , cycle training, but I have concerns about relying on councils to fund #BikeBus roll outs.
Happy that #SchoolStreets program continues at Strathcona Elementary School in Hamilton, ON! In 2022, 8 80 Cities & Green Communities Canada supported the City of Hamilton program at this location through #OntarioSchoolStreetsPilot .
