It was amazing!!!!

Current clinical applications of TARE include both aimed for curative (radiation segmentectomy, radiation lobectomy) and palliative treatments. For curative aim, the LEGACY showed benefits of TheraSphere for ORR and DoR.

Longtime patient of mine with metastatic breast cancer who first underwent RF of solitary liver met in 2017, bilobar Y90 in 2019 now with two lesions in caudate lobe. Segmentectomy dosing delivering 20mCi to caudate delivering >300Gy to lesions. Complete response and back to NED.

It was a great pleasure to present our latest work on the impact of resection margin on local reccurence in VATS Segmentectomy at the STS meeting in San Antonio, Texas. Postdoc Lin Huang Lin Huang did an excellent job.

Intrahepatic #cholangiocarcinoma treated with radiation segmentectomy UAB IR showing an excellent response to treatment on follow up imaging obtained three months post procedure. This minimally-invasive #cancer therapy is well-tolerated and performed on an outpatient basis.

Define the endobronchial path closest to a pulmonary nodule <2cm and mark the territory with methylene blue endoscopically: An excellent method to help surgeon and pathologist before an anatomical segmentectomy for NSCLC.
