But the more time I spend with these majestic animals, the more I dream of a powerful herd, grazing in a vast silvopasture.

We work with nature not against it….allowing our cattle a wide diversity of grasses, forbes and browse. We are a silvopasture ranch. Better soils, wide diversity of plants, clean water and extremely healthy livestock.

Lots of mention of Silvopasture and Agroforestry in the uk at the moment for the benefit of soils, carbon, livestock and crops - fascinating to walk through so many examples of this in Spain on a spectrum from abandonment to intensive current use

Looks like we’ll be having some guests at the orchard this year, as a chap in the village with sheep was looking for places to let them graze. We used to have sheep here, from a friend, so will be nice to run the orchard as silvopasture again.
