Roger Cullman Volkswagen Group CCS-1 (type 1) is used in the US. CCS-2 (type 2) is used in Europe. Tesla originally did use NACS in the UK but changed to CCS-2 so that type-2 AC charging at home could be used. Therefore, CCS-1, type-1 and NACS are irrelevant to many markets outside North America.

james kaff @Hy_Economy If you are doing a long trip then stop for 20 mins to charge. I stopped and bought a sandwich, took 2 bites and had to move car as it finished charging. I did 40% to 90% charge. In the UK, Tesla superchargers are about 40p per kWh (inc 20% VAT).

Dr. Andy Palmer I think the low emission and ultra low emission zones in London are aimed at pollution control of NOx, toxic gases, and particulates, but not CO2 emissions. Synethic fuel is not compatible with these zones especially with older vehicles. There are 2 separate fights; CO2 & NOx.
