A good day to get the overalls on and get on with some work at the smallholding with my dad. Got some strimming done and had the tractor out to do some work. Feeling happy.

We breed Buff Orpingtons, and selecting a breeding cockerel is very important. This is Badger, our current breeding cockerel. He's 9 months old.

It's amazing how quickly the team remembered me after the hiatus due to my broken leg.
After 3 months, when I could be with them again, they were initially afraid of my crutches. It's not taken long for them to get over it.
