Had a great day at a joint event from BuglifeScotland & Marine Conservation Society , learning all about the invertebrates in the river Esk & what they can tell us about the health of the river. We then carried out a and litter pick in Musselburgh.

Our residents told us they were concerned about the litter polluting the Goring end of the Ferring Rife.

Today along with Cllr Vicki Wells we organised a visit from the Marine Conservation Society to hold a Source to Sea clean and cleared over 46kgs of rubbish!

As we move along the river Dysynni towards the sea we have stopped to add to our books and have a quick pond dip. We found water scorpions and baby fish.

Picking Shore Rd Perth while my boy is at drumming, first time it's clear of standing water in a year as they obviously had to clear drains to close flood gates. So much litter Source To Sea so close to the Tay APRS

Where possible our groups sort, and count, what they find. They are having a staggering impact on our blue space, preventing litter from entering the oceans.💙🌊
