Pretty funny because for many journeys, the Sydney Metro will actually be faster than a car. Chatswood to Martin Place, for example, will be 15 minutes by car but 11 minutes by the metro.

So the fourth stage of the Thomson East Coast Line in Singapore is due to open on the 23rd of June. I now realise that there is a (slim) chance that the Sydney Metro extension also opens on the same day.
