A male who was located heavily intoxicated whilst in charge of a 4 year old has been arrested.
The child was safeguarded by officers, checks were completed with the appropriate services, and then returned to a family member.
The male remains in Police custody

In reaction to reports & text messages of males playing loud music and taking nitrous oxide on board a service to Victoria.
This resulted in officers being able to swiftly meet the train, locate the suspects & a positive stop and search being conducted.

A post-arrest search located a 30cm long blade in the male's bag
