Chief Jimmy Bruneau School students (NWT) been working on winter hunt caribou, gaining knowledge from Tlicho leaders/elders. Traditional Knowledge passed to Dene youth creates 'two eyed seeing' approach. School is named after a great leader in Tlicho history, Chief Jimmy Bruneau.

LLMA'S would like to invite Tłı̨chǫ artists with a demonstrated ability to create culturally rich and visually compelling artwork to submit their proposals for our new 8' x 12' Welcome Sign.

We’ve got great news for folks in the Tlicho – the Gamètì winter road opened today (Feb. 21) to light vehicles – those weighing under 8,000 kilograms. The average opening date for the Gamètì winter road in the last five years is February 20. In 2023 it opened on February 27.
