The #TNLeg just passed a law to pre-empt all 95 counties from passing Extreme Risk Protection Orders/Red Flag laws. The Cowardice of this legislature is despicable and dangerous! We just had a mass shooting in Memphis. Gun violence is the #1 killer of children in this state.

TODAY: Students, parents, and organizers protesting the #TNLeg decision in #Nashville to arm teachers and let them bring guns to classrooms. Putting guns in schools will have DEADLY consequences. GUNS HAVE NO PLACE IN SCHOOLS.

This is an easy position to take. I hope the #tnleg will listen to the majority of their constituents (especially teachers and parents) and vote no on putting more guns in our schools.
