Hiking from Belfast to Lisburn. Quite nice, but people are more reticent in Northern Ireland. Very few smiles or hellos on the 13-mile towpath.

Canal & River Trust While walking along the towpath of the Macclesfield Canal this morning, we came across a pair of Canada geese and goslings. We managed to walk past without too much disturbance.
