A1 Chorsu Market in Tashkent is the most vibrant market in Uzbekistan, with so many people & every imaginable kind of product on sale. The bakery is my favourite part. #travchat
Q6. Have you ever visited a market that was a little different from the usual? Share your experience and what was more unusual about it. #travchat#markets
Travchat A2: Naschmarkt in Vienna has a kiosk selling famous kasekrainer, a saussage filled with cheese. The saussage was fantastic! It is certainly a reason why this kiosk has been operating for more than 100 years! #travchat
Travchat A4: I visited a women's weaving co-op in San Juan la Laguna at Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. They gave a demonstration of how they wove and dyed scarves, and had a massive selection. I still wear mine during winters. #travchat
A3 #travchat Not really. However, outside of the occasional hat or mug, I really don’t buy anything but a refrigerator magnet. Market in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
A5 #travchat It’s just interesting to see what they have to offer. They will probably have things you haven’t seen before. The markets of Hanoi, Vietnam.
Travchat The medina in Tangier. It's an ancient labyrinth of shops, and it feels like you can find anything and everything if you venture deep enough. #travchat
Travchat A1: Chioggia, a small town near Venice, has a street market on Thursday. Everything and anything can be found there, at great prices. I couldn't resist excellent homemade salami. #travchat
