For this week’s we have this fantastic Victorian stereoscope and assorted images from the Boer War. Stereoscopes were very popular during the 1800s for viewing photographs in 3-D.

Great PV of Victorian Virtual Reality show Watts Gallery - Artists' Village with everyone trying to experience the wow stereoscope moment that inspired Sir Brian May’s fascination with this form of Victorian optical technology. Go see! It’s a lot of fun.

Konichiwa! Lovely day immersing myself in Japanese ephemera while I think about my Mikado pieces. Watts Gallery is a lovely place. Highly recommend its Edo Pop exhibition… GREAT life-drawing/kimono session… had a great play with line and form as observed!

Some honking numbers at Watts Gallery - Artists' Village last weekend from our all star and all female line up . The horns - Hannah Horton on saxes and Laura Impallomeni on trombone were on fire - with the flames admirably fanned by Wendy Kirkland, Suzanne Cross and our very own Marianne Windham!
