30 years ago today Ian died from an AIDS related illness. His grave maybe faded now but my memories are as real as the day it happened. Visited his grave today and then onto the Coffee Cup in Hampstead to remember him. #whatisrememberedlives THE AIDS MEMORIAL
We should never forget what was allowed to be said about AIDS in the 1980s. We should learn from those terrible mistakes by institutions that took the lives of so many people and caused a new wave of homophobia and discrimination. Thanks to THE AIDS MEMORIAL #whatisrememberedlives
Saturday will mark 28 years since Ian died from an #AIDS related illness. Took the opportunity as I was in the area to put some flowers on his grave in Highgate Cemetery. Can hardly read his name and dates now but #whatisrememberedlives .
