LBCMD is all smiles while #Working4MD . This is how we do it in the Maryland General Assembly!
Never a dull moment in Annapolis! Despite making it through all of our primary sponsor bill hearings, there are still some important decisions to make, like on the Freedom to Read act coming up for a vote today. Stay tuned! #working4md #mddemsatwork #mga2024
With a week left of the legislative session, we have been busy voting in Ways and Means committee and on the House floor. All the while, I am working toward passage of my pending bills before Sine Die. #mga2024 #working4md #buildwithbernice
Crossover Day has passed, and this week, I'm here to discuss some progress of some of our bills that have made it to the Senate! Check out this week's update. #mga2024 #working4md #buildwithbernice
Today I met pile drivers w/local 474 working demo/construction of DLS building. They told me Governor Gov. Wes Moore also stopped by this week. It’s great to see state $ connect MDers to life changing construction careers. We need more of this in Maryland ✊🏾 #unionproud #working4md
Our office would like to congratulate our interns Jenna Thompson and Julia Cicero on their hard work this session! We appreciate them going above and beyond working for District 14, and wish them the best as they continue their studies at Univ. of Maryland! #working4md #mga2024

Great meeting with Montgomery County Education Association last night to discuss their legislative priorities and my Interstate Teacher Mobility Compact. Looking forward to working together to tackle the teacher shortage and support educators in Maryland! #mga2024 #working4md
The MD House of Delegates passed 4 of my bills! Collectively, these bills protect consumers from outdated info in credit reports, improve state creation of affordable housing, modernize school district public notice, and connect students with mental health resources. #working4MD
Today was Crossover Day, which means that bills had to pass the House of Delegates or Senate to then “crossover” for consideration in the opposite chamber. I’m proud to be the sponsor of more than a dozen bills that passed the House of Delegates. #Working4MD
Thousands of 45th District neighbors will soon receive my End of Session Letters summarizing Maryland's 2024 legislative session. I'm excited to share more about the passage of 13 bills I sponsored and over $2M in capital investments across the district. #Working4MD
I'm so grateful for the Freedom to Read Act to be apart of @SpeakerAjones Decency Agenda! Looking forward to working with the Speaker to protect literature and the freedom for readers to choose for themselves.

📚The Freedom to Read Act is shortly on its way to Governor Wes Moore’s desk! MD will become one of the first states to protect libraries, librarians, & literature! Thank you to Speaker Adrienne A. Jones for her leadership, & to all who helped shape this legislation!

Sometimes we have special guests visit us in Annapolis. Growing up as an O’s fan I was so excited to meet Cal Ripken, Jr who was one of the best short stops ever. #working4md
