Thinking about the futility of WW1. We still live with the consequences today. So many brave men were lost, whilst so many cowardly men lived. Now we live in a society built by the Grandsons and Granddaughters of said cowards; Raised in a society devoid of the heroes of old.
In my other thread about Tannenberg I explained a little how the Germans and Austrians managed to defeat an army with a greater number. The German military and strategies were superior, but they are not valued when talking about WW1 many say that the leadership was terrible
Australians sadly died in WW1 and WW2 because Australia like it still is today was controlled by the Rothschilds as was Churchill and these were banker wars.

Do you know story of Helmuth von Pannwitz? Prussian Noble, Iron Cross recipient in WW1 as volunteer, member of Freikorps in Silesia, during WW2 was commander of Cossacks on Eastern front - when British betrayed Cossacks and sent them back to Stalin, he voluntarily went too.
On the battlefields by the New Zealand memorial, looking for remnants of the Battle of the Somme. The ground is still giving up reminders, 107 years later. A shrapnel ball and a fired German bullet. #ww1
