His handwriting can be seen in many passports produced by Polish diplomats for Jews under German occupation in an effort to save their lives.
Aleksander Ładoś, Poland's Envoy to Switzerland during #WWII , leader of the 🇵🇱✡️ #ŁadośGroup of #Holocaust rescuers, responsible for forging 1000s of Latin American passports for Jews in German-occupied Europe, was born #OTD 132 years ago.

Born #OTD in 1899, Konstanty Rokicki, vice consul of the Polish Embassy in Bern and a key member of the #ŁadośGroup which during WWII saved Jews from the #Holocaust using forged Latin American passports.
In 2019, Rokicki was recognized as #Righteous Among the Nations.
Dr. Juliusz Kühl, economist & diplomat at PLinSwitzerland during #WWII , member of the Polish-Jewish #ŁadośGroup of #Holocaust rescuers, was born #OTD 110 years ago.

Zivia Lubetkin was one of the leaders of the #WarsawGhettoUprising that began #OTD 80 years ago. A Paraguayan passport was issued for her by the #ŁadośGroup operating in PLinSwitzerland.
In 1961, she testified during the trial of the German war criminal Adolf Eichmann.
