LaFond almost won a 🥈 but was called for a foul. While she is still processing the disappointment, LaFond is already looking ahead to the 2024 Olympics.

My girl Thea LaFond has qualified for the finals on Sunday. Hopefully NBC Sports will stop playing hide and seek with the coverage and I'll be able watch it on Sunday morning. I smell a medal!!!

In the Caribbean, only Jamaican and Cuban athletes have EVER jumped farther. This is HUGE!

Thea Lafond 🇩🇲 with a HUGE personal best and national record 14.60m... in qualifying! She is into the final. She also improves on the 14.38 she did in 2019, and is just outside the world top 10 for 2021.
