It was a huge two days for Moruya-based apprentice Jade McKenzie, who notched two career firsts at Moruya on Friday and Kembla Grange on Saturday.

Moruya based apprentice Jade McKenzie from Thorotek Racing scored her first provincial win at her first ride Kembla Grange Races yesterday aboard veteran galloper NAPOLEAN SOLO! Congratulations to all involved in a stellar couple of days for the young hoop!

Fantastic day Kembla Grange Races today. We headed up to Kembla with Napoleon Solo and our apprentice Jade McKenzie. Jade having her first provincial ride today. Napoleon and Jade didn’t disappoint taking out the last. Congrats to all of Napoleon’s owners. Outstanding Jade!

Outstanding work Jade. All your hard work is paying off. 3 rides today for 2 winners and a second. Took out the Moruya Jockey challenge as well. Jade heads to Kembla tomorrow for her first provincial ride on Napoleon Solo.
