Everyday is @pcps! Engaging with our outdoor learning space daily has allowed students to develop personal relationships with the natural world. It was a student idea to create posters to help protect our beloved birch.

Grateful to York Region DSB for the efforts being taken to reduce waste during workshops. Prince Charles PS we are doing the 2nd R and reusing! Soup bowls have made for great investigation tools as we continue our inquiry into worms!

CPHA has released a position statement on unstructured play. I think all of us who spend time with kids (of all ages) can benefit from reading it. It might be most accessible if you start with the context at page 5 & then backtrack.
