Robinson is 6-foot-3, 302 pounds. Big hands (10.5 inches), long arms (almost 35 inches).

All of his college snaps came at right guard so would be projecting him as a versatile piece if that's what they're looking for. That's generally what teams want from Day 3 interior guys.

Interior linenmen taken by New England since 2022:

Cole Strange (1st round, 2022)
Chasen Hines (6th round, 2022)
Jake Andrews (4th round, 2023)
Sidy Sow (4th round, 2023)
Atonio Mafi (5th round, 2023)

Now Layden Robinson in the 4th round this year.

Long arms (34 inches). Big hands (almost 11 inches). Explosive tester (9-foot-8 broad jump).

There are some physical traits to like from New England's end. But right tackle seems settled. Curious if Eliot Wolf and Co. believe Wallace can flip to the left side.

On Ja’Lynn Polk, from one AFC exec:

Strong contested catch option

High character

Not a big-time run-after-catch threat

One comp? Jakobi Meyers.

Polk didn't make our list of Prototypical Patriots this year. No agility testing didn't help.

It's worth pointing out, though, the Packers have had some home-run picks in the 2nd round at this position. And a couple of those guys, like Polk, ran in the 4.5s.

The Falcons called Kirk Cousins when they were on the clock to let him know.
From what I learned, Cousins understood a QB would be considered but he did not believe his successor would be taken in the first round. I’m told he’s a bit stunned.
