What I find amusing about historic reaction to the Royal 'It's A Knockout' are the people who say it just ended up being a load of trivial nonsense. Of course it was! It was 'It's A Knockout' for goodness sake! We never thought we were making high art or nuanced drama. Sigh...🤔

Anybody watch 'It's A Royal Knockout, The Untold Story' on Channel 5 on Saturday night? I was in it quite a lot. I enjoyed the programme, although I don't think our show was quite as shambolic as Nina Myskow made out. Watch it on My5 catch-up.

Who remembers 'It's A Royal Knockout' from Alton Towers? Well I was the assistant producer on that and had one of the most surreal days of my life! ITN are making a doc' for Channel 5 all about it, and I was interviewed for some 3 hours about my memories. I'll keep you posted.
