Max was one of the nicest, most creative, most inquisitive folks you'd ever meet. Always down for an adventure, and principled as all hell. He always urged those around him to fight for a better world. I'm distraught his life ended this way, and I hold our memories of him dearly.

Max was funny and kind. I really enjoyed knowing him. He only ever wanted to help people.
