Absolutely blown away by the volunteers. 750 samples and counting of fuel moisture from right across the UK. 55% taken on a single day and ~80% within a two day period of high fire danger last week.

The latest on the large wildfire burning to the east of Glenuig in the Highlands ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ Burned ~3,500 ha as of this afternoon (22 April 2023), with a large active headfire on the eastern edge. It may have died down overnight, but good chance of spread tomorrow if winds kick up. [1/3]
