The Government made cuts to UK aid knowing that it would impact women & girls the most. The UK now has the opportunity to reverse the unequal impacts of the cuts & scale up aid funding in a way that invests in women and girls, including in crises, & through development worldwide.

The Equalities Impact Assessment shows that the UK Government knew that cuts to funding on Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights would directly impact efforts to advance gender equality. The UK must now reverse these cuts & properly invest in their commitment to women and girls.

Even as the UK Government made the decision to cut overseas #aid , it was aware of the severe impact this would have on women and girls.
