There is true power in acts of kindness. That’s what #DayofPink is. Two Nova Scotia students sparked a global movement when they stood up against 2SLGBTQI+ hate and brought their school community together. They chose compassion over division—that’s a lesson we can all take.

My thoughts are with the family of Jacob Flickinger, a Canadian citizen who was among those killed in an Israeli airstrike on an aid vehicle. Killed while delivering food to civilians in need, his death is absolutely unacceptable.
