Welcome to Emily who is our Faculty of Information & Media Studies (FIMS) co-op student. Emily is developing a plan to preserve Western’s electronic theses and dissertations, working on digitization of AV records and assisting with conservation of special formats. Emily will be with us for the next 8 months!
Photos from our Western History Dept Public History, Western University Canada open house that we hosted last Friday. We exhibited some never-before-seen new acquisitions from 2023 including archival items related to No.10 Stationary Hospital, war diaries, Wright Bros Orchestra as well as maps and rare books
It is National Winnie the Pooh Day! On this day in 1882, author A.A. Milne was born-- today we thank him for creating such lovable characters. In celebration, we pulled Milne’s 1928 “The House at Pooh Corner” from our rare books collection at ASC.
