Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed learning how to play the ancient Maya ball game: Pok-a-Tok! They found it challenging to keep the ball up without using their hands or feet. Thankfully, there were no sacrifices of the losing teams… this time!

Thanks to Hall Hill Farm for a fantastic day on the farm learning all about the animals and their young. Reception loved holding and feeding all of the animals and the VERY bumpy tractor ride! 🐥🐑🦚🐇

Year 6 helped us to conclude our Holy Week celebrations in school with a wonderful Celebration of the Word with the theme of Maundy Thursday and the Last Supper. We are now ready for the light of Easter this weekend.

Key Stage 1 and Reception ended Science Week with a literal bang thanks to Neil at Big Science UK 💥We had a blast thinking like physicists and chemists and enjoyed lots of exciting experiments to celebrate and grow our love of science. #StMarysScientists #BritishScienceWeek

Reception have loved being palaeontologists during Science week and going back in time to find out about dinosaurs. They found fossils, used magnifying glasses, read lots of books, did drawings, paintings and much more! #StMarysScientists #BritishScienceWeek
