Working at Friars Academy was an absolute privilege today. You all made this Friday a special one!

I was at one of the schools that I first worked at as a travelling poet and performer today. I feel honoured to be asked back again for the 3rd time over the course of 4 years. Big up ACE Tiverton.

I performed to and worked with over 1400 young people last week, sharing the power of poetic performance. Here I am performing poetry with the help of sound samples from my Roland SP404.
I am a poet but mainly I’m a creator of words, sounds and rhythm. I do things differently!

What a pleasure to be invited to this school- great atmosphere and wonderful people! This was an especially excellent Friday.

I have worked with over 1000 young people so far this week, helping them to enjoy wordplay and performance.

This is a good way to spend a Friday- creating raps and wordplay using nonsense and portmanteau words with students. Big up to On Track in Northampton for having me.

Teaching young people how to beat box, and create songs….how lucky I am to have this job! Thanks Royal & Derngate for setting up these masterclass sessions with the youth theatre groups.
