Here is a huge shout-out to our Mapathon winners and heartfelt thanks to all contributors on the leaders board!

Together, we've mapped over 26,000 buildings in Project 15608 for Kinshasa city, driving impactful development efforts forward. ✅🌎

Over the past three days, we co-hosted the 7th Int’l Humanitarian Mapathon with the UN Smart Maps. Participants learned how to contribute to humanitarian mapping and create maps that tell a story. 👩🏻‍💻

Of course, the mapmaker who won Best Overall + People’s Choice is a Filipino 🇵🇭

The final day of the Participatory GIS workshop was a blast🎉🥹. Thank you Dr. Brent and all other chapters for making this possible. Acquisition of knowledge🌍, skills and networking embodied as one.
