325 inmates were converted from convicts to convents after baptism at Chikurubi Maximum Prison. ZPCS Chaplaincy guides inmates through spiritual devotion which creates positive mentality for offenders. Psychologically, inmates have a different worldview after accepting Christ.

The Chief Director Business Development and Production, Commissioner Benias Changunduma and his delegation recently toured 7.2 ha of cow peas, 3 ha of sunflower and 43 ha of maize production at Mutimurefu Prison Farm. Cow peas are used as supplement of proteins for inmates.
