A single organ donor can save up to 8 lives and a tissue donor can save or improve the lives of 50 to 80 people. Our former government passed the Organ and Tissue Donation Act to move organ donation to an opt-out process, a change that will change lives by increasing donation.

70% of Nova Scotia’s population lives along the coast. This Earth Day, we’re renewing our calls for the Houston government to take coastal protection in Nova Scotia seriously. It’s not too late for the government to reverse course and proclaim the Coastal Protection Act. #nspoli
