Recovered burns survivor and ex-firefighter has thanked the Emergency Services for saving his life 🚒

Crews were invited to Mansfield Fire Station with Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust, after saving Derrick from a bonfire incident in 2022.

Our High Volume Pump (HVP) team have been training with other crews across the region 🚒

The exercise took place at RAF Waddington, seeing five fire services working together on a training exercise to test their skills.

A fire in an abandoned building is being investigated as a suspected arson attack.

Today is Firefighter Memorial Day. A day where we remember those who have sadly lost their lives in the line of duty.

At midday we will join the rest of our fire family to observe a minutes silence to pay tribute to those who have died whilst serving their communities.
