Tips for April Showers! Create a comfortable, warm environment, provide familiar soaps and shampoos, and encourage independence as much as possible. Consider installing rails and seat to increase safety. If taking a shower is not an option, consider washing at the sink. Alzheimer Scotland

Changes in floor colour/pattern can look like steps& dark coloured floors can look like holes to people with dementia & sensory changes.Where possible,keep floor coverings the same&lift dark rugs to prevent someone trying to step over them-reducing falls risk.
