We are really pleased with today's announcement from Department of Health and Social Care that additional funding will be provided to fund 24 early support hubs to expand their provision, meaning more young people will be able to access early support for their mental health 👏👇

For today, I'm putting the caveats aside and just want to celebrate this extra funding, hard-fought for by many campaigners, and the fact that there will be more support in 24 areas of the country.

But tomorrow, we'll be back in Westminster, demanding more.

It is disrespectful to not name racism - which is causing the avoidable deaths & traumatic near misses of so many black women, who remain disproportionately more likely to die in childbirth than any other group. NOT due to biology - but racist assumptions leading to negligence.

Social justice is that everyone deserves equal economic, political +social rights +opportunities.
