Yes I'm glad to be a member of the wonderful British Library- But acknowledgement that I & many others are renewing despite it being essentially unusable for 6 weeks now would have been welcome! Students, authors etc pray this under-reported disaster is resolved asap in 2024.
A top class debate with Dominic Selwood at Highgate Literary and Scientific Institution on the return of the Parthenon Marbles. Dame Janet Suzman, for British Committee, amongst erudite audience. My speech, which leans on the scholarship of Alexander Herman & Alicia E. Stallings amongst others, here ⬇️
