Being bishop of a diverse place like Manchester, it’s been hugely valuable for me to engage at the ISERT conference with colonialism and the process of decolonisation of theology. I also got to deliver a paper on the Church Commissioners’ engagement with their enslavement legacy.

David Walker asked Gov about child poverty & the future of the Household Support Fund which ends in Sept. New Department for Work and Pensions child poverty stats show 4.3m children growing up in poverty - 100k more than last year. We need a long-term strategy & funding for local crisis support.
